XXXTentation Funeral, Devastated family and friends gathered to pay tribute.

Family, friends and fans of the chart-topping music artist were pictured in tears as they gathered to celebrate his life at the funeral and memorial event on Wednesday.

The controversial rapper, 20, was shot dead in the US state on June 18. He was ambushed by two suspects, according to police, who earlier said it may have been a botched robbery.

Mourners at the fan memorial paid tribute to XXXTentacion, whose real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, with many chanting his lyrics and making ‘X’ signs.
Others were seen queuing for the service, which began at midday at the BB&T Centre, from as early as 7am. Many were pictured breaking down in tears.

Rapper Lil Uzi Vert, who said he had spoken to XXXTentacion’s family, has called on celebrities for help in setting up a fund to aid those with relatives killed by gun violence.

Family members and friends wore black t-shirts that read 'No more pain' on the back.

Dedrick Devonshay Williams, 22, was taken into custody by the Broward county sheriff's office last week, People confirmed. Detention records showed he was charged with first degree murder, without premeditation, along with driving without a valid license and a probation violation for theft of a car.
William faced court Thursday where he was represented by a public defender, but did not address the court. The judge ordered he be held without bond.
